Similar Film Synopsis

Shrooms is an 86 minute long film about a group of American students who are stalked by a serial killer, set in Ireland. The students go on a hunt in the Irish woods looking for psilocybin shrooms. Yet, when they consume the hallucinogens, are they experiencing a bad trip? Or is it real?

Released on November the 23rd 2007 and had nearly no impact on the box office making just $300,000 in its opening weekend. It was written by Pearse Elliot, directed by Paddy Breathnatch and distributed by Vertigo Film.

This is similar to our own film in the sense that it's related to drugs, and is the main cause of the twist in the film.
